KFMA 1st Anniversary

4th of March 2025 marked 1 year since the birth of Korean Freestyle Martial Arts- how quickly that time went! After 22 years as an Instructor with a local Brisbane Club, it was a big and daunting decision to go out on my own- but I am so glad I did.

It's been a big year with lots of changes.... New payment system and processes, communication platform and website. New logo, uniforms, club merchandise and student handbook. 

I have had a steep learning curve with the business end of things, but I'm excited that my vision for KFMA has panned out. A special thanks to Brooke for taking on the administration role.

Thank you to all students and parents for your patience and support the last year while we worked to get KFMA up and running smoothly. Your support is very much appreciated.

This year will be an exciting one for KFMA. We are competing at a few events for the first time as Team KFMA! Gradings with some higher ranks now in the mix and a trip to Korea and Japan with a couple of students.

I am proud of my Club and my students. I am looking forward to seeing what the next year at KFMA has in store for us and seeing you all train hard and move up the ranks.
