The grading took place on 30th September 2025, with 10 students approved to advance.

As KFMA's Master Instructor, I was pleased with each student's performance during the grading. It was evident who had put in the effort, trained diligently both in class and at home, and incorporated my feedback from the spontaneous mock grading.

Congratulations to the following students:

Brooke - Finally, another Senior grading to 1st Gup. Brooke demonstrates determination and resilience, setting a great example as KFMA's highest-ranking student. Never one to procrastinate, Brooke now aims for her Demo belt.

Elizabeth - At 11 years old, Elizabeth is transitioning from a Junior to a Senior. It is wonderful to see her fire and ambition, along with a high standard of etiquette.

Alexanda - Alexanda shows great promise as a young martial artist, displaying excellent skills with his advanced kicking for his age.

Clara - Although she struggled through the yellow belts, Clara has now found her footing and is performing exceptionally well.

Joe - Joe's dedication is evident as he never misses a training session, which is reflected in his grading result.

Sam - Sam is always eager to learn and understand techniques, and he takes feedback seriously, which was evident on the grading floor.

Jackson - Jackson returned to my class after a long break. As a young boy, he achieved his blue belt. He has done well to quickly regain a high level of skill, allowing him to triple grade.

Ally - Ally is always ready to work hard both in and out of class. She has a great attitude towards training and encourages herself and her son to train.

Samuela - Though training is challenging for him, Samuela always gives his best and works hard both in and out of class. His persistence and resilience reflect his true character as a martial artist.

Nuri - As the smallest member of the team, Nuri is showing great potential and starting to make a significant impression.

It is fantastic to finally see a significant number of higher ranks, which will make for an interesting end-of-year grading in December. Having more high-ranking students is beneficial for our lower ranks to look up to and learn from. The lower ranks observed the grading, giving them insight into what lies ahead...

We have a Hapkido grading coming up on 28th October and the final Taekwondo grading for 2025 is scheduled for 9th December.

Well done everyone.

Master Mark
